"The Gentleness of Elephants"

António Pedro Dinis - composer, pianist/organist, and poet - invites you on a musical-poetic journey through the South. On the occasion of the release of his first poetry collection "The Gentleness of Elephants" and new piano pieces and songs, he will be performing in Dürnstein. Joining him will be Conny Winiwarter, Prima la Musica award winner and moderator, who will take on the solo parts of duo pieces.

The program features poems and new creations from Portuguese classics, particularly the national poet Luís Vaz de Camões, whose 500th birthday is being celebrated. Famous for his epic "The Lusiads," Camões was also a master of the sonnet and popular poetry.

Additionally, new works will be performed, including a tango, waltz, Slavic-inspired melodies, ballads, and, in duo format, his homage to the Baroque.
