Reach for the stars! Christmas workshop

On this cozy starry day, we are getting into the Advent and Christmas season. Various stations will be set up at several locations in the weaving museum, where you can create beautiful Christmas stars using different techniques, such as decorative Swedish stars made of willow, origami stars, three-dimensional Froebel stars made from colorful paper strips, knotted macramé stars from starched linen thread, or glittering stars made from strung beads.

At the beginning, all techniques will be demonstrated, after which everyone can rotate between the different stations, delve into one technique, or try out all the offerings in succession and possibly contribute their own ideas. The goal is to find a little peace through the work of our own hands, to work comfortably on small, manageable projects, to learn new techniques, to exchange ideas, and to leave at the beginning of the Advent season with beautiful, small gifts for our loved ones.
