To comfortably conclude the summer symposium TEXTILE KULTUR HASLACH and kick off the Haslacher:innen meeting, DJ Joel Isaac Black will create an appropriate atmosphere at the Mühlviertler Ölmühle.
The musician, originally from the USA and now living in Berlin, will bring his vinyl records and present a pleasant ambient jazz-blues-mellow vibe during a two to three-hour listening journey – nothing too energetic, rather a general "vibe" where guests can meet, converse, and enjoy themselves in a relaxed manner.
Building on over two decades of passionate work at the intersections of global music scenes – as a DJ, live artist, curator, producer, journalist, and record store manager – Joel Isaac Black has established himself as a unique music mediator. Born in Texas as the son of a blues musician, raised with harmonica and swamp guitar, and later reborn in Berlin's nightclubs, he continues to travel the world in search of uplifting musical moments.
The relaxing music will round off the course weeks and simultaneously provide a warm welcome for guests who have already arrived for the following day's Haslacher:innen meeting.
