76. Wine and folk festival in Konz

Four days full of enjoyment, music, and good mood around the Konz city hall!

The popular “Konz Heimat and Wine Festival” is entering its 76th round and invites you to a festive event filled with regional wines, varied live music, and entertaining program points.
A variety of bands, artists, and local clubs will provide a colorful and engaging program throughout all days.

The opening evening traditionally starts with the presentation of the candidates for the title of Saar-Obermosel wine queens on the main stage. Following this is a festive fireworks display accompanied by music. Afterward, celebrations continue at the marketplace with live music.
From 6:30 p.m., reception of the guest wine queens at the harbor of the water sports club Konz and a ride with the motorsport boats to the dock on Saarstraße; subsequently, the vintage car parade with the Oberemmel winemakers' band to the official opening at the festival grounds (initiated by the motorsport club Konz).
8:00 p.m. Official opening of the Heimat and Wine Festival with the music association “Harmonie” Könen.
Presentation of the candidates for the election of the Saar-Obermosel wine queens.
9:15/9:30 p.m. Performances by the show dance groups “Rainbow”.
10:30 p.m. Grand opening fireworks with musical accompaniment.
11:00 p.m. Unplugged music with the trio “Dancefloor”.
From 8:30 p.m. on the HdJ Konz stage behind the administrative building II: DJ Night. Exciting sounds, changing DJs, and a real party atmosphere.

On Saturday evening, visitors can look forward to more musical highlights featuring great bands.

Newcomer on Stage. Celebrate with up-and-coming bands and artists from the region.

The Sunday is solely dedicated to families.
Starting at 8:00 a.m., a large old and youngtimer exhibition will take place at the parking lot of the furniture store Martin.
A selection of rare and especially beautiful vehicles will parade to the marketplace on Sunday afternoon, where they will be welcomed by the mayor on behalf of everyone.
Here, the reigning Saar-Obermosel wine queens will also be picked up and chauffeured in open vintage cars to the event area at the parking lot of Möbel Martin.
From 8:00 a.m. vintage car meeting of the motorsport club Konz at the parking lot of Möbel Martin.
10:30 a.m. Festive service at the festival grounds (in case of rain at the parish church St. Nikolaus).
11:30 a.m. Arrival of the vintage car parade at the festival grounds. 
2:30 p.m. Puppet theater TOPS presents the fairy tale “Ki Ka Kasper and the bank robber”, for children aged 4 and up (festival grounds) 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. (behind the administrative building II): Family afternoon with the mobile play unit Konz, games, fun, and activities for young and old.
3:30 p.m. Performance by the “little” group of the show dance group “Rainbow” (festival grounds).
7:30 p.m. Soul & More
From 9:00 p.m. on the HdJ Konz stage behind the administrative building II: Public Viewing, final game of the football World Cup.

On Monday the wine stands will open in the afternoon. In the evening, live music will create an exuberant atmosphere and a festive conclusion to the event.
3:00 p.m. Entertainment with the duo “Lucky Lips”.
8:00 p.m. Rock & pop with the band “Viva La Vida".

Numerous food stalls will also leave no culinary wishes unfulfilled. Whether fries, bratwurst, or dishes in the gourmet zone – everyone will find something that suits their taste.
