Föschber Kirmes

The fair in Niederfischbach has a tradition of over 465 years, and this
year it will continue.

In keeping with tradition, the start of the fair festivities will begin on Saturday afternoon at
2:00 PM. Around 6:00 PM, the new fair king will be carried through the fairgrounds by the
fair community e.V. with musical accompaniment.

Upon arrival at the stage in the center of the fair, the fair will be officially opened with the tapping of the keg by the local mayor
Schuh.

On Sunday, traditionally the day for families at the Föschber fair, some attractions will be offered after
the fair opens around 2:00 PM.

On the final day, “Maatdeesdich” (Market Tuesday), the day starts at 11:00 AM with the
morning pint. In the late afternoon, the long-lasting
funeral march will slowly bring the fair king to his final destination, marking the end of four wonderful days.

It is also worth mentioning that the entire entertainment program as well as parking is free, and the prices from the showmen are reasonable. And quite
convenient: There are no long distances to cover here. A barrier-free toilet is also
available.

The streets in the fair area around Konrad-Adenauer-Strasse in the town center
will be closed from Saturday morning at 7:00 AM! There is sufficient and free parking available around the fair.
