"Weltklassik am Klavier!" zu Gast in Altenkirchen

"World-class piano!" takes place on the third Sunday of every month at 5:00 PM in Altenkirchen (Dr.-Wilhelm-Boden-Saal).

Our small but fine monthly series of piano concerts is now performed at 37 locations. "World-class piano!" is under the patronage of Professors Bernd Goetzke, Alexey Lebedev, Gesa Lücker, and Wolfram Schmitt-Leonardy. The pianists performing at "World-class piano!" are distinguished by their international competition wins and unique personalities. They come from China, Germany, England, Israel, Japan, Korea, Italy, Poland, Russia, South Africa, and Ukraine. Works from the Baroque, Classical, and Romantic periods are primarily featured. Composers such as Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, Haydn, Liszt, Mendelssohn, Mozart, Schumann, and Schubert are in the foreground.
