Guided Nature Experience Hike with Great Insights into One of the Largest Moors of the Vulkaneifel... The circular hike leads us into the Mürmes Nature Reserve. This is a maar crater formed by volcanic activity, which initially contained a lake and later developed into a moor due to silting. Along a circular trail that was established just a few years ago, you will receive expert information at several stations about the formation and protection of the moor. In addition, you will be introduced to the special plant, bird, and insect species in their habitats. Therefore, binoculars and a camera should definitely not be missing from your backpack. Sturdy shoes and rain protection are recommended, and please bring your own provisions.
