75th Tour of Austria

The Tour of Austria will celebrate its 75th edition in 2026, and St. Johann in Salzburg will be a stage location for the 16th time. On Friday, July 10, 2026, the third stage will lead from Lienz through the Felbertauern Tunnel towards St. Johann in Salzburg. The third of a total of five stages starts on Friday, July 10, 2026, at the main square in Lienz.

After a long ascent towards the Felbertauern Tunnel, the route will take cyclists through the Pinzgau into the Pongau: over Schwarzach, through Bahnhofstraße in St. Johann, continuing to Bischofshofen and over Buchberg into Fritztal.

The route then continues through Eben, Altenmarkt, and Wagrain, before heading back through Bahnhofstraße in St. Johann towards the finale. From there, it is just a short but decisive stretch to the finish line in the Alpendorf of St. Johann.
