In the magnificent Basilica of St. Michael in Mondsee, a festive concert featuring baroque and classical sacred music awaits you: Joseph Haydn and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart are at the center of a program that hovers between quiet devotion and jubilant splendor.

You will hear Haydn's solemn Salve Regina, his Organ Concerto in C Major, as well as Mozart's “Sparrow Mass,” complemented by liturgical works such as Ave verum corpus. The Vienna Boys' Choir, an excellent quartet of soloists, and the Orchestra Wiener Akademie, under the direction of Martin Haselböck, will perform in historically authentic sound.
