Diabelli Summer 2026 - The Special Trio

For more than 20 years, the "Besondere Trio" has been one of the special favorites of the Diabelli Summer. This time, the world-class trio will premiere a new piece by the versatile jazz musician, composer, and adopted resident of Mattsee, Sabina Hank. Before that, there will be one of Ludwig van Beethoven's magnificent piano trios, followed by one of the most significant chamber music pieces of the 20th century, marked by the tragedy and hope of that time: Dmitri Shostakovich's 2nd Piano Trio.
