Castle Concerts 2026

The castle concerts at Seeschloss Ort in Gmunden, a concert series for wind orchestras, have established themselves as a fixed point in the Gmunden cultural summer among music lovers in recent years. And even those who have not been fans of wind music until now will be surprised and delighted! The repertoire at the highest musical level of the selected wind orchestras is indescribably diverse. From classical wind music to rock classics, jazz, soul, and big band sounds, as well as music from the current charts of international publishers, everything is included in the program of the castle concerts.

The castle concerts were first held as a pilot project in 2007 and received such a positive response that the concert series has been continued year after year. A solution has also been found for the weather issues experienced in recent years. Artistic direction: Franz Schindlauer.
