High feast day in celebration of the patronage.

The local decoration this year is under the motto "Blooming Mariapfarr."
08:30 AM – Solemn patronage mass with herb blessing in the basilica
10:00 AM – Breakfast with the traditional music band Mariapfarr at the square by the pond
10:30 AM – Tapping of the beer keg at the square by the pond, followed by a concert
02:00 PM – Samson parade with the traditional music band and the shooting company Mariapfarr
10:00 AM - 05:00 PM – Flea market, gourmet mile, and crafts around the basilica
10:00 AM - 06:00 PM – Original shooting booth
10:00 AM - 02:00 PM – Children's program: bouncy castle, goal wall, can shooting & pony riding
02:00 PM - 05:00 PM – Parish, pilgrimage, and Silent Night museum open

The local innkeepers and associations around the basilica will provide for your physical well-being and musical entertainment. The High Feast Day 2026 will be organized according to the criteria of GREEN EVENT SALZBURG. In the spirit of a sustainable event, regional value creation, waste reduction, energy efficiency, and social responsibility will be particularly considered. Please travel by public transport, on foot, or by bicycle. A shuttle service from Bruckdorf will be offered in the morning.
