The sensational feel-good musical MAMMA MIA! in the original English version with German subtitles will be guesting in 2027 in Bregenz, Vienna, Frankfurt, Munich, Stuttgart, Leipzig, Berlin, Oberhausen, and Bremen.

The performances in Germany and Austria celebrate more than 25 years of MAMMA MIA! since its premiere in London in April 1999. To this day, MAMMA MIA! is the third-longest-running musical with over 11 million spectators in the London West End. MAMMA MIA! has been seen by more than 70 million viewers in 50 productions and in 16 different languages. In 2011, MAMMA MIA! became the first musical from the Western Hemisphere to be performed in Mandarin in the People's Republic of China. MAMMA MIA! has evolved into the eighth-longest-running show in Broadway history, where it ran for a record-breaking 14 years.
Since its premiere in the London West End, the world's most spectacular and entertaining musical has been revitalized by two very successful film adaptations. MAMMA MIA!, the film produced by Judy Craymer in 2008, became the highest-grossing musical of all time after its release, and the second film, MAMMA MIA! HERE WE GO AGAIN from 2018, is the most successful live musical film sequel of all time.
The music and lyrics of MAMMA MIA! are by Benny Andersson & Björn Ulvaeus. The book was written by Catherine Johnson, directed by Phyllida Lloyd, and the choreography was by Anthony Van Laast. The production was conceived by Mark Thompson, with lighting design by Howard Harrison, sound design by Andrew Bruce & Bobby Aitken, and musical direction, additional materials, and arrangements by Martin Koch.
