Surrounded by the natural beauty of Upper Austria, Mahler crafted his expansive musical interpretation of the world here; a symphony that leads from the awakening of nature to its highest spiritual fulfillment. Under the direction of its chief conductor Markus Poschner, the Bruckner Orchestra Linz presents this monumental work, which, with its six movements – once programmatically titled by Mahler – charts a journey through the stages of existence.
