The book: Slowly, the sun is setting in the West. We sit in its last rays by the bank of the stream, where everything is going down: the environment, biodiversity, democracy, human rights, truth, hope for a better future – while we argue about who threw all of this into the stream. But can we fish anything out again? In a Baywatch mission, Florian Scheuba sits by the bank, watches for lifeguards and dark sewage channels, and wonders if this stream has already become mainstream...
