Climbing on Rock Inclusive with the Alpine Club Mondsee

Date: July 29, 2026, 2:00 PM - 5:30 PM

We will meet at 2:00 PM in the parking lot at Müllner Bräu in Salzburg. Feel free to form carpools from Mondsee independently. We will be climbing in the climbing garden at Müllner Schanze, which is wheelchair accessible. There is also plenty of space at the base of the wall.

The approach from the parking lot takes about 10 to 15 minutes, depending on the path. There is a wide range of routes available, and many easy routes are offered. Unfortunately, there is no overhang for traversing.

Note: There are no toilets in the climbing garden! The nearest restroom is located at Müllner Bräu.

We will climb until 5:30 PM and then head back home individually.

Please register at steffi.bayer@gmail.com by July 15, 2026. The maximum number of participants is limited to 10 (accompanying persons who do not climb or climb independently may join in limited numbers).

Requirements:
Climbing experience in climbing gyms, equipment will be provided by the AV if not available - please indicate what you need when registering.
AV membership.

Equipment:
Good shoes for walking, weather-appropriate clothing, snacks, drinks.
If available: climbing harness, climbing shoes, belay device, climbing helmet, some (screw) carabiners, quickdraws, 60m rope - if not, please let us know, and we will bring equipment.
