In the Old Icelandic sagas of lies, we encounter mythical creatures, magical objects, and wondrous figures. On the third evening of Klangraum Dobra 2026, Michael Köhlmeier tells stories of giants and gods, trolls and wizards, werewolves and dragons, which not only remind us of the fantasy worlds of J.R.R. Tolkien or George R.R. Martin by coincidence, as they are ultimately the original source of the modern fantasy genre.
