This popular fairy tale comes to life through classical dance, breathtaking choreography, and beautiful costumes. Sleeping Beauty is one of the most beloved fairy tales of all time. Who wouldn’t want to be awakened with a kiss, especially after 100 years of sleep? What sounds like a beautiful fairy tale truly is. Yet, Sleeping Beauty offers more than just the love story between two royal children. The tale also speaks of good and evil – as well as the shades in between. The plot unfolds after the fairy Carabosse is offended in her pride and angrily curses the little princess Aurora. However, in the good Lilac Fairy, evil meets a strong opponent, allowing Sleeping Beauty and her prince to hopefully live happily ever after.

The elaborate set design and colorful costumes invite both young and old to immerse themselves in a splendid fairy tale world. Thus, Sleeping Beauty invites all spectators to hold their breath and tremble, to marvel and indulge.

The ballet is performed by the International Ballet Company Italy - Artistic Director Alessandro Bonavita. The International Ballet Company Italia was founded in 2022 and brings together the most charismatic and talented dancers from around the world. This ballet company consists of 40 professional dancers who hold diplomas from the most prestigious institutions and choreographic schools from various countries. The company’s repertoire includes the most significant works of the international repertoire: Swan Lake, The Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, Giselle. The mastery of the ballet by the IBC Italia company is appreciated on various theater stages in Poland, Croatia, Spain, and Italy.
