For decades, McNally's play "Master Class" has been one of the greatest successes of chamber actress Andrea Eckert. In up to 200 performances, she captivated the Viennese audience in the role of the unforgiving yet deeply vulnerable opera diva Maria Callas, the “icon of Belcanto,” who stands at the end of her stage career.
