Piaf, a woman who lived and loved extravagantly and constantly had to fight for recognition, and Brel, a young man lost in the world who could captivate the audience with his emotions. Maria Bill brings them back to life in her concerts; she embodies the legendary chansons, singing of loneliness and longing, of dreaming and losing oneself. In her own interpretation, she resembles both in temperament and in her burning passion for music and her audience.
