Gablitz Art Hiking Day

In the center of Gablitz, several galleries are open. In good weather, open-air areas are set up along the street. Modern art and fine handicrafts are the focus of the exhibitions. With a stamp card, you receive a small gift after visiting six stations.

On June 13th and 14th, the artist group ART Gablitz invites you to a special hiking day. Between the village café and the Pizzeria Giovanni, visitors can enjoy a varied circular route from 12 PM to 7 PM. On Saturday at 11 AM, there will be an exhibition in the glass hall honoring the painter Johann Schmatz on the occasion of his 85th birthday.

Along this route, six galleries can be visited, including artworks and sculptures displayed in the premises of the Elektro Kaiserteam and its showcases. In the village café, Ludmilla Kemetmüller presents her photographic works. Barbarella Villekulla showcases abstract works using snake skin in her studio, where her ball pythons can also be seen live.

Beatris Green focuses primarily on human portraits and so-called power animals. In nice weather, other artists invite visitors to discover their works outdoors along the circular route. The offer is complemented by a flea market stand.

Additionally, the Atelier Zambal, Josef Vyborny's art cellar, and the FREYRAUM will also open their doors. The theme exhibition at FREYRAUM is titled "Transformations."

As is customary for a hiking day, there is also a hiking pass: you can get a stamp in each gallery. Those who collect six stamps will receive a small gift as a token of appreciation.
