Always on the last Sunday in April, the Wißberg Wine Hiking takes place from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Around the Via Vinea, along the Gau-Bickelheimer Kreuzkapelle and part of the panoramic hiking trail, the HiwwelConnection, the Landfrauen Sprendlingen, the Hofgut Wißberg, and the Gau-Bickelheimer wineries offer wine, grape juice, small snacks, as well as coffee and cake for refreshment.
The circular hike (approximately 10 km) starts at the Wißberghalle in Sprendlingen, where information about the route is available. The route leads along the Via Vinea to the Wißberg. The path includes stops at the Hofgut Wißberg and the Kreuzkapelle. The circular route can be walked in both directions.
Sturdy footwear, rainproof clothing, and your own wine glass are recommended!
