Farbenfrohes Wandern

On the last Sunday in October, it's that time again – the HiwwelConnection and the Tourist Info of the Rheinhessische Toscana, together with local clubs, invite you to “Colorful Hiking” through the autumn-colored vineyards! Then it's time to lace up your hiking boots, put on your backpack, and hike along the well 12-kilometer long route from wine stand to wine stand.

A backpack filled with provisions is not necessary for Colorful Hiking. From 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, the HiwwelConnection and local clubs offer wine, non-alcoholic beverages, and food for both small and large appetites at a total of seven stations along the route.

Participation in the hike is free, and no registration is required. There is no starting or finishing point; everyone can walk the route as desired.

Anyone who visits all the stations and collects all the stamps can participate in a raffle. Prizes include vouchers from our local wineries.

The round course is family-friendly and also passes by some of the popular Wingertsschaukeln. However, it should be noted that there are some inclines to manage.
