457. Weilburger Kirchweih

The traditional Weilburg Kirchweih is celebrated in August in Weilburg and offers a very special festival program for visitors. The program is diverse and always begins with the march of the citizen guard. The ceremonial firing of artillery at the Kanapee is also part of the traditional program, as well as the Night of the Clubs, the formation of the citizen guard at König-Konrad-Platz, a festival at Schlossplatz, and much more. The Kirchweih weekend is rounded off with a Children's Day organized by the Wirtschafts-Werbung Weilburg and a Sunday with shops open in Weilburg's city center.

Big Children's Day of the WWW
With shops open on Sunday, August 31, from 12 to 6 PM
On Sunday, August 31, as part of the Weilburg Kirchweih, the 18th Children's Day organized by the Wirtschafts-Werbung Weilburg (WWW) and the city of Weilburg will take place. Numerous play stations, competitions, and attractions will be available for children of all ages from 12 to 6 PM. The shops in the city center will also be open during this time.
