Maternuskirmes in Sierscheid

The otherwise rather tranquil Eifeldörfchen Sierscheid in the Verbandsgemeinde Adenau traditionally celebrates its festival on the third weekend in September.

From September 19 to 20, 2026, the legendary Sierscheider festival kicks off another round with plenty of specials for a successful party evening.

The festival will be opened at 7:00 PM with a traditional fries stand, homemade salads, and goulash soup.
The party DJ will ensure a great atmosphere in the champagne bar, while guests will also be indulged in the cocktail bar and cozy chill zone.
On Sunday, the festivities continue at 10:30 AM with a word service in the chapel followed by a wreath-laying ceremony at the memorial. Afterwards, it’s off to the Frühschoppen on Dröschplatz. A culinary offer for lunch delights the guests, and in the afternoon, coffee and cake round off the offerings for the festival. There are many attractive options for the kids.
