"Bitburger Braderie": Southern flair moves into Bitburg on the last Saturday in July, when invitations are extended to the new edition of Bitburger Braderie. Once again, more than 50 traders will provide a large open-air flea market with a summery atmosphere and attract many shoppers, tourists and bargain hunters to the city.
The shops from the town hall to Trier Street, which is closed to traffic, are open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and offer goods at particularly favourable prices at stands in front of their shops. There are also food and drink stands and a colourful programme of music, dance and children's entertainment. The inner city working group of the Bitburger Gewerbeverein, which organises the braderie, has written to the traders in the city centre.
