Landau Summer, Old Town Festival

This is what summer sounds like in the South Palatinate metropolis: Landau Summer invites you to celebrate in the city center from July 10 to 12.

3 days, 7 stages, and 52 live acts: From July 10 to 12, the Landau Summer will take place in the city center of the South Palatinate metropolis – and there's plenty on offer. Over the three festival days, more than 50 acts will perform on seven stages. In addition, as befits Landau, there will be regional and international delicacies, wines, cocktails, and beer.

“Summer has many faces, and it shows one of its most beautiful each year during Landau Summer here in the South Palatinate metropolis,” says Lord Mayor Dominik Geißler. “We look forward to the numerous artists from the entire region, who have something to offer for every musical taste, and of course to everyone who wants to celebrate and have fun with us. A big thank you goes to the team of our Tourism Office led by Nina Ziegler and Market Mistress Sonja Brunner-Hagedorn for organizing the popular music festival.”

The stages are as usual located at the Rathausplatz, Stiftsplatz, Untertorplatz, and Thomas-Nast-Platz, as well as in Bachgasse, Badstraße, and Ostbahnstraße. In terms of music, there’s everything from cover rock to singer/songwriter pop to modern schlager.

Good to know: The Landau Summer takes place on Fridays and Saturdays from 11 AM to 1 AM and on Sundays from 11 AM to 10 PM. Music ends on Fridays and Saturdays at midnight and on Sundays at 9:30 PM; the bar closes 30 minutes before the end of the event.
