The Weinbergnacht, an exclusive open-air wine tasting, takes place in the evening hours (5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.) in spring through the vineyards of the spa town. A unique view of the city skyline, the dreamy district and wine town of Ungstein, as well as numerous sights such as the Gradierbau, the Dürkheimer Riesenfass, the Michaeliskapelle – the birthplace of the Dürkheimer Wurstmarkt, the largest wine festival in the world – and the Roman winery "Weilberg" make these two nights a truly special experience. Not to forget: With sky beams, LED bars, light cubes, and laser technology, the Bad Dürkheim vineyards are skillfully staged. Thus, the Weinbergnacht brings together top travel destinations and the best Dürkheim wines amidst fascinatingly illuminated Palatinate vineyards.

At the Weinbergnacht, the fine drops are tasted with a wine pass. With the "wine pass sections" included in the pass, up to 15 x 0.05 liters of premium wines from the participating wineries can be sampled. Each winery offers three premium wines plus one selected premium wine or secco. This is marked with a crown in the online wine guide (expected from February 2027: www.weinbergnacht.de) and costs two sections.

INNOVATIONS

In the future, all visitors of the Weinbergnacht will receive a "strolling band". This serves as an entry bracelet and for controlling the number of visitors on the event premises. Those who purchase a wine pass will receive the strolling band included. If someone shares a wine pass with other visitors, a strolling band must be purchased for each guest. Example: If two people share a wine pass, one buys one wine pass (including strolling band) and one extra strolling band.

Without a wine pass or strolling band, a visit to the Weinbergnacht is not possible.
