The Wine Mountain Night, an exclusive open-air wine tasting, takes place in the evening hours (5:00 PM to 11:00 PM) of spring through the vineyards of the spa town. A unique view of the city skyline, the dreamy district and wine town of Ungstein, as well as numerous sights such as the brine building, the Dürkheimer giant barrel, the Michaeliskapelle – the birthplace of the Dürkheim sausage market, the largest wine festival in the world – and the Roman winery "Weilberg" make these two nights a very special experience. Not to forget: With sky beamers, LED bars, luminous cubes, and laser technology, the Bad Dürkheim wine locations are skillfully staged. Thus, top travel destinations meet the best Dürkheimer wine amidst fascinatingly illuminated Palatinate vineyards.

At the Wine Mountain Night, the fine drops are tasted with a wine pass. With the "wine pass sections" included in the pass, 15 x 0.05 liters of top wines from the participating wine-growing businesses can be tasted. Each business offers three top wines and a selected premium wine or sparkling wine. This is marked with a crown in the online wine guide (expected from February 2027: www.weinbergnacht.de) and costs two sections.

INNOVATIONS

In the future, all visitors of the Wine Mountain Night will receive a “strolling bracelet”. This serves as an admission bracelet and for controlling the number of visitors on the event grounds. Those who purchase a wine pass receive the strolling bracelet included. If sharing a wine pass with additional visitors, a strolling bracelet must be purchased for each guest. Example: If two people share a wine pass, one purchases a wine pass (including strolling bracelet) and one additional strolling bracelet.

Without a wine pass or strolling bracelet, visiting the Wine Mountain Night is not possible.
