Großes Open-Air-Kino im Klostergarten Oberwesel

As part of the "HEIMAT EUROPA Film Festival," the Kulturhaus Oberwesel invites you to a very special open-air cinema event in the monastery garden on Saturday, August 1, 2026, starting at 7 PM. A special film will be shown again. The title will be announced a few weeks before the event.

Live Music, Grill Stand, and Cinema

In 2026, the preview of the film festival will also take place in the monastery garden of Oberwesel. The film will begin at dusk around 9:15 PM and will be shown on a large screen in the garden. A grill stand will take care of everyone's culinary needs that evening.

The band “Bojangles” will set the mood for the special open-air experience starting at 7 PM. Their repertoire includes a great mix of blues, pop, and rock - performed with a lot of joy and passion. A fantastic concert experience that can be fully enjoyed in the special atmosphere of the monastery garden with a cold drink.

The organizers of the "HEIMAT Europa Film Festival," which takes place mainly in Simmern, are the Pro-Winzkino Simmern association and the town of Simmern.

The Kulturhaus Oberwesel has been a cooperation partner of the film festival since 2023.
In case of bad weather, the event will take place in the Kulturhaus.

Tickets for €19 will be available for pre-sale a few weeks before the date or directly at the Kulturhaus.
