Federweisser Festival

In the heart of Landau, the oldest festival around the new wine takes place.
“What the Munich people have as Oktoberfest and the Bad Dürkheimers have as the sausage market, the Landau people have their festival of Federweißen.”
Many wine towns along the Wine Road have now included Federweißen festivals in their event programs, but it still holds true: Often copied and never attained!
For the physical well-being of the visitors, the festival hosts in the six wine cabins, which exclusively offer wines from Landau winegrowers, take care of everything in their usual manner. This offer is complemented by a wine and sparkling wine pavilion with top products from Landau winemakers, as by now, at the Federweißen festival, not only “Federweißer” is consumed. More than 30 snack and specialty stalls complete the festival offerings and provide a wide range of extravagant dishes alongside typical Palatine specialties such as onion pie, Flammkuchen, chestnuts, and steamed dumplings.

Sunday 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM
