Open guided tour of the Georg mine

We begin our tours with a presentation on Siegerland mining, focusing on the Willroth mining tradition. Afterwards, you can visit our small museum with mining relics and, accompanied by our guides, climb the headframe. From the highest point, you not only have a fantastic view over the Raiffeisen region, but also, on a clear day and with a little luck, of Cologne Cathedral.
Participation in the tour and the ascent of the headframe is at your own risk. We would like to point out that for safety reasons, youth under 14 years of age are only allowed up to the hanging bank (half height), and not on the external stairs of the headframe. Furthermore, the regulations of the visitor's rules apply.
On this day, we offer you the opportunity to enjoy coffee, cake, and lard sandwiches at our pit bar.
