Eltviller Weihnachtsmarkt

6 and 7 December 2025: Eltville Christmas Market on the second weekend of Advent in the heart of the old town (around St. Peter and Paul's Church) and in Marktstraße.

On the second Sunday of Advent, the historic old town is illuminated by the sea of lights at the Eltville Christmas Market. On Saturday, 6 December from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. and on Sunday, 7 December from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m., visitors can expect an atmospheric programme and a variety of stalls offering culinary delicacies and handicrafts. These include stalls from Eltville's twin towns of Montrichard and Passignano with delicious regional specialities from France and Italy.

Tip: There are also some Christmas offers in the Electoral Castle: in the Count's Hall of the castle tower, a large Nazarene-style nativity scene invites you to linger.

On 6 and 7 December, the tourist information office and the castle tower are open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Plenty of time to browse the Christmas gift range – and visit the tower.
