The Friends of the Arenberg Ruins Association aims to hike one of the 11 villages of the former Duchy of Arenberg each year.
The tour, lasting just over two hours, begins at a leisurely pace from Aremberg via Eichenbach to Wershofen, where one can refresh at the Gasthaus Pfahl. There we will meet Pastor Rainer Justen, who lives in Wershofen and is a profound expert on the history of his village as well as the history of the Duchy of Arenberg.
Finally, we will walk back to Aremberg. For those for whom the hike back to Aremberg is too much, a car shuttle can be organized.
