Keschdefeschd

At the Keschdefeschd from October 3rd to 4th, 2026 in Annweiler am Trifels, numerous stands offer dishes and products made with and from chestnuts. There are sweet and hearty variations, such as chestnut cream, chestnut liqueur, chestnut honey, chestnut sausage, chestnut chutney, chestnut dumplings, and chestnut bread. Additionally, regional and seasonal products will be offered at the market, such as new wine, game products, French cheese, sheep products, and decorations.
The market stalls are open on Saturdays from 11 AM to 7 PM and on Sundays from 11 AM to 6 PM. There will be musical entertainment in the afternoons on both days. Children can go on a treasure hunt with the chestnut in the festival area. Those who successfully complete the rally will receive a small surprise.

On Saturday, the 22nd Chestnut Princess for the Trifelsland will be crowned, the first and only one in Germany. To whom the reigning Chestnut Princess Felicia I. will pass on her crown will, of course, not be revealed until the coronation. The Keschdefeschd is classified as a "Festival for Everyone."
