From 10 a.m. on Sunday, May 31, the Kräuterwind May Market will take place around the Tourist Information center. During the weekend, local producers, in addition to the Kräuterwind manufactures, will invite visitors to taste their products.
Here you can enjoy coffee and cake, buy fresh bread from the Garcia bakery, or savor a delicious wild garlic sausage from Cay Hoffmann. The handcrafted soaps from Kirsten Weimer "Seife natürlich!" spread a wonderful scent. Gaby Held-Habermann also offers a diverse range of honey, while the environmental officer Rolf Koch provides information on environmental and nature conservation issues. The manufacturing company "Asavi" presents its new salt and spice creations, Claudine Weingarten brings her natural cosmetics from the Westerwald, and this year there will be many hobby crafters offering their wonderful, self-made creations. The Mevlana Natural Mill from Westerburg is also new this year with its cold-pressed oils, and "Jeronimo NaturPur" offers olive oil, vinegars, and wines from Spain. Also on site is Kräuterwind specialist Klaus Dieter Stahl. He promotes his wild herb hikes at Wiesensee and provides tips and tricks for using wild herbs.
A visit is definitely worthwhile!
