The night, this is not only the time for sleeping, this is also the time for dreaming and imagination.
For children, at night the stars and clouds turn into ghosts and goblins, and sometimes they slip through an open window and mingle in the dreams of children.
Have you ever wondered what happens when I dream? Or have you ever wanted to know what it’s like to talk to animals?
Do you perhaps also believe that there is a man in the moon and beings that create the weather?
If so, then come to the paper theater "Kleine Auszeit" for this year's Christmas fairy tale "Peterchens Mondfahrt." This is the story of Peterchen, his little sister Anneliese, and the May bug Sumsemann, who... but come and see for yourself.
The paper theater "Kleine Auszeit" presents its version of the fairy tale freely based on Gerdt von Bassewitz.
This play enchants with its self-designed sets and figures, as well as with numerous guest voices, such as Badesalz, Carsten Weyers (Radio Bob), musicians from the band Boppin B, Tilman Birr (among others, world hits in Hessian), and many more. In the main roles, listen to two young speakers from Buseck who wonderfully bring the characters of the literary template to life.
After the performance, there is an opportunity to take a look behind the scenes and ask questions about the paper theater.
The paper theater "Kleine Auszeit" offers theater performances in Großen Buseck with the paper theater that has been recognized as an intangible UNESCO cultural heritage since 2021.
