Fest unter dem Maibaum

Since 2016, the residents of Köwerich have proudly hosted the wine festival "Köwericher Weinfrühling". Already months before the festival, the people of Köwerich come together to prepare for a grand celebration: The festival committee, the winemakers, the wine queens, representatives from local clubs, and many volunteer citizens put their heads together, plan, organize, and spare no effort to create a three-day festival with an appealing supporting program of wine, dance, and music. The highlight of the festival is Saturday evening: The crowning of the wine queens accompanied by a commented comparative wine tasting, which, thanks to the excellent relationships of the Köwerich young winemakers with winemakers from other growing regions, is a cultural and tasting experience that you should not miss.
