A special salon evening at the Old Post Office in Bad Ischl: With texts by Ernst Jandl and H. C. Artmann, as well as Friedrich Cerha's "Keintate," language and music meet in an impressive way.
The award-winning actor Karl Markovics reads stanzas and poems with a fine sense of rhythm and sound. Günter Haumer interprets Cerha's "Keintate" for baritone and Schrammel quartet – a work that consciously oscillates between singing and speaking.
They are accompanied by the Attensam Quartet, whose characteristic Viennese sound, featuring violin, button accordion, and contraguitar, creates a unique musical framework.
In the year of Friedrich Cerha's 100th birthday, an evening full of linguistic wit, musical sophistication, and literary intensity is created – a cultural highlight for guests who wish to experience special art formats in Bad Ischl.
