Revelation "The Bird Tower"

Art Meets Nature Conservation

The prominently visible silo tower in Raasdorf will become an artistic home for endangered bird species! Artist Mariella Lehner is painting the grain storage facility with two impressive motifs: a barn owl and a falcon. At the same time, nesting boxes for each bird species will be integrated into the building. This way, the graceful animals will find an artistic new home at the silo tower and become more visible to us humans. The bird tower, conceived by the renowned ornithologist Leander Khil, is being implemented by Silosophie in cooperation with Hasitschka Agrarhandel GmbH and in collaboration with the Calle Libre association. The project goes hand in hand with the participatory art project SOLANGE by Katharina Cibulka.
