Concert evening with Wernfried Gappmayer and band: Hoibzeit

Wernfried Gappmayer and his band present a new program titled "Hoibzeit," which combines alpine sounds with North African influences. The album of the same name was created in Essaouira, Morocco, where the musicians worked on the recordings together with Gnawa musician Youness Paco. His Gembri sounds and singing add a special depth to the songs. The lyrics of the album reflect on the transience of time and the significance of memories. Gappmayer is accompanied by long-time band members Markus Marageter (keyboard), Franz Trattner (drums), and Gernot Hauslauer (bass), who contribute to the characteristic interplay of the ensemble. It is a concert evening that impresses with intercultural openness and musical diversity.
