EROS RAMAZZOTTI (IT) A SIGNIFICANT STORY – WORLD TOUR
Eros Ramazzotti is back! With his songs, he has shaped the history of Italian music and is among the most successful artists from our neighboring country, boasting 16 studio albums, completely sold-out European and world tours, and numerous awards. The now 62-year-old has sold over 80 million records and has nearly ten billion streams worldwide.
And now, the success story continues: "Una Storia Importante" is the title of the tour that tells of the deep connection between Eros and his audience – an authentic and lasting bond that transcends time, borders, and generations. A story of music, emotions, and exchange that is being written with the same power as always. The world tour – which includes dates in Europe, North America, Canada, and Latin America – has only one goal: to touch the hearts of audiences worldwide.
Eros Ramazzotti was born in 1963 in Cinecittà, Rome. From a young age, he dreamed of becoming a singer. In 1981, he participated in the "Voci Nuove di Castrocaro" competition, received a record deal, and moved to Milan. Success came in 1984 when he won the newcomer category at the prestigious Sanremo Festival with "Terra promessa," capturing the attention of Italian music fans. He returned to the festival in 1985 with "Una storia importante," and in 1986 he won Sanremo with "Adesso tu" and released "Nuovi eroi."
In the 1990s, he achieved record sales with albums such as "Tutte storie" (1993) and "Dove c'è musica" (1996). In 2003, the album "9" topped the Italian charts for 14 weeks – the world tour reached over a million fans. Ramazzotti continued his career with international tours and new albums (most recently "Battito infinito," 2022), maintaining his status as an icon of Italian and international pop music.
In May 2027, we will also say "Ciao!" to the Italian icon, super hits, and lots of emotions here at home: Eros will finally grace the Wiener Stadthalle once again!
