Excursion: A Boundless Pleasure

The excursion trip "A Boundless Pleasure" takes you from Graz to Klagenfurt via the Koralmbahn. On August 20th, we depart comfortably from Graz Main Station towards Carinthia. The train ride itself is part of the charm of this tour: Styrian landscapes pass by the windows, the scenery changes, and soon Klagenfurt is reached. There, the Carinthia guides await with a warm welcome.

The highlight is a guided city walk through the old town of Klagenfurt. Amidst old facades, quiet courtyards, and well-known squares, the city reveals its approachable side. Of course, the Lindwurm (dragon) is also included. However, it is often the small stories that linger: a glance at an old house sign, a tale about trade, a detail at the roadside.

Afterwards, we head to the Benediktinermarkt. Here, the air is filled with the scents of bread, cheese, spices, and fresh fruit. The market is a great place to experience the Alpe-Adria feeling. For a snack, there will be prosciutto, cheese, white bread, a glass of wine or juice, and the Carinthian Reindling. Simple, good, and fitting for this excursion.
