About the book "Wild Wuchern":
The author succeeds in empathizing with the lives of two very different women and comparing their various perspectives. The pampered fashion designer must adapt to the harsh life in the mountains. She refuses to be defeated, enjoys her freedom, and begins to grow. Katharina Köller tells the serious story of self-liberation with humor and love.

About the author:
Katharina Köller was born in 1984 in Eisenstadt, Austria. She studied philosophy and acting and has been working as a freelance author, actress, and theater maker since 2011. After her debut "Was ich im Wasser sah" (2020), "Wild Wuchern" was published in 2025 by Penguin Verlag, described as "a novel like a natural force" (Doris Knecht). Katharina Köller lives with her family in Vienna and Innsbruck.

About Dominika Meindl, who will lead the author discussion:
Dominika Meindl was born in 1978 in Linz. She is a writer, moderator, and literary event organizer in Linz, Wilhering, and Wels. She leads the reading stage Original Linzer Worte and curates the series experiment literatur in the Old Castle Courtyard of Wels. She is a spokesperson for GAV OÖ. Her novel "Selbe Stadt, anderer Planet" is set to be published in 2024, and "Die Raumforderung" is expected in the fall of 2026, both by Picus. She is a self-proclaimed federal president and loves the Dead Mountains. She shares ongoing life musings in her blog "Eine Frau mit recht wenigen Eigenschaften."
