As every year, on Whit Monday, the Franz Kirchner Big Band and vocalist Eva Kirchner will present their musical program in the courtyard of Schloss Neuwildenstein in Bad Goisern at Lake Hallstatt.

The Franz Kirchner Big Band has been part of the elite of the big band scene in Austria for years, is known beyond the borders, and is based in Ebensee, Upper Austria, on Lake Traun.
The big band is formed in a large ensemble and in the old style, featuring double bass (bandleader Franz Kirchner), piano, drums, guitar, five saxophones, four trombones, and four trumpets. The band plays swing hits, original compositions, and Latin American music with great passion.
