This year, the renowned concert series is once again stopping by with two extraordinary duo formations that impressively showcase the diversity of the contemporary folk scene.

Returning is Paul McKenna, a long-time favorite among audiences. His songs are intense, poetic, and often imbued with quiet melancholy, yet they are also politically aware and socially relevant. With his distinctive voice and strong stage presence, he has long been considered one of the most important voices in Scottish folk music. He is accompanied by violinist Robbie Greig, who adds depth with his fine sensitivity and musical virtuosity.

A completely different yet equally captivating sound spectrum is offered by the duo April Verch & Cody Walters. Together, they blend Canadian roots, American old-time, country, as well as Scottish and Scandinavian influences into an energetic mix. April Verch not only captivates with her outstanding violin playing and warm voice but also with her award-winning tap dance skills, making her performances a true experience. By her side, Cody Walters provides the right groove and musical sophistication with his versatile instrumentation.
