St. Pauler Forest Stories 2026: Vivaldi the Forest Wal - Ticket to Mars

For the fifth time, the team of St. Paul’s Forest Stories opens its theater curtain. A shady hiking trail leads you through the summer mixed forest to Johannesberg in St. Paul im Lavanttal. Over a distance of 2 km, with a duration of about 1.5 hours, you will experience a play performed at 11 different stations. Upon arriving at the Johannesmesner inn on Johannesberg, all hungry and thirsty forest story hikers can enjoy a picnic under colorful umbrellas around the small Johannes chapel. Here, thirst and hunger can be satisfied with homemade treats from the region. Picnic baskets, umbrellas, and blankets are provided. A small farm market invites you to browse and peruse. Content: Excitement is in the air. The entire magical forest is in great turmoil. The gray giants are coming! They stomp and trample across planet Earth, leaving gray concrete, steel, and dirty air in their wake. A small spaceship from the planet Mars is heading straight for Earth. Mimi from Mars lands in the middle of the magical forest. She knows that the colorful planet Earth will soon become a gray planet. The solution: Everyone come to Mars! Everyone in the magical forest gets a ticket to Mars. Vivaldi the forest whale, who once emerged from the blue ocean and fulfilled his dream of living in the forest, knows one thing for sure: He does not want to be a Mars whale! But can he protect planet Earth and the magical forest? Can he stop the gray giants? Certainly not all by himself. Come on, get your hiking shoes out of the closet, pack your forest diving goggles in your backpack, and make your way to St. Paul. Vivaldi the forest whale could use your help.

The desired time slot between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM can be reserved (max. 20 people per group). A group will be sent out every 20 minutes to visit the forest theater at 11 different stations. Please expect waiting time when purchasing tickets on-site. Parking is available at the cemetery parking lot, and be sure to account for a 15-MIN WALK from the parking lot to the start! Clear signage is provided. Good footwear and rain protection are recommended. Unfortunately, it is not suitable for strollers and wheelchair users.
