Guided hike along the historic Sasbach Trail from the Turenne Museum to Kühnerhof

Join the Sasbach Cultural and Local History Association (Verein Kultur- und Heimatgeschichte Sasbach e.V.) for a hike along the historic Sasbach Trail from the Turenne Museum to the Kühnerhof. 2:00 p.m.: Tour of the Turenne Museum, followed by a guided walk along the historic trail, and 3:30 p.m.: guided tours of the mills (sawmill and gristmill, Miller’s House) at the Kühnerhof. The tour begins with a visit to the open German-French Turenne Museum, proceeds through the Sasbach cemetery to the oldest building in the municipality, St. Michael’s Chapel, and continues to St. Brigitta Parish Church. From there, the tour continues to Lindenplatz in Sasbach, with an explanation of the former significance of the court lime tree, the large plum market, the weighbridge, and the fruit press. The tour then continues to the Kühnerhof in Sasbach. There, participants will be guided through the sawmill and flour mill, as well as the miller’s house. Registration at info@kuehnerhof.de
