For over three decades, Beppo and Ferdinand have been bringing laughter, wonder, and plenty of mischief to the Waldshut district with their KAKERLAKI Clown Theater. Summer after summer, they travel from town to town, enchanting young and old alike with their unique blend of slapstick, magic, and interactive theater. But this year it’s time to say goodbye: the two clowns are going on tour together for the very last time. And of course, for their grand finale, they’ve once again reached deep into their colorful bag of tricks. Ferdinand presents himself as the world’s greatest juggler—whether that’s really true is up to the audience to decide. Beppo, on the other hand, focuses on the tiniest wonders and shows off what are probably the smallest soap bubbles in the universe. Together, they repeatedly find themselves in chaotic situations: a voracious magic trunk snaps at their fingers, nothing in the jungle goes according to plan, and by the end, there won’t be a dry eye in the house. One thing is certain: audience participation is strongly encouraged! Because when Beppo and Ferdinand take the stage, the audience quickly becomes part of the action—loud, lively, and full of joy.
