Crispy pork knuckles and other grilled delicacies. Live music and an exciting lineup of activities for all ages. For 32 years now, the motto in Obersasbach on the first Saturday of summer vacation has been: “Immer uff die Schward”! So this year, too, crispy pork knuckles will be grilled for you on our specially designed and built grills—the “Panther’s Haxenblitze.” The Obersasbach Traditional Band would like to cordially invite you to join us on August 2, 2025, starting at 5:00 p.m. at the festival grounds next to the Grindehalle. Plenty of food and drink will be available. In addition to delicious pork knuckles, there will be Bauhöfer beers, wines from Alde Gott, and many other offerings. Of course, there will also be non-stop brass band music. Even the little ones won’t be left out and can let off steam with an exciting children’s program. Our Haxenfete will take place rain or shine. However, if you’d prefer to enjoy your pork knuckles in a smaller gathering at home, you’re welcome to pick them up at the Grindehalle starting at 3:00 PM before the Haxenfete begins.
