Wine Tasting at the Horn

Exceptional wines, a breathtaking view of the Kraichgau region, and plenty of interesting facts about viticulture in the area—that’s what the wine tasting on the Derdinger Horn in Oberderdingen is all about! Accessible by light rail! On Sunday, September 20, 2026, the popular and nationally renowned wine tasting on the Derdinger Horn will take place starting at 11 a.m. For the 38th time, the Hockenberg, Kern, Lutz, Müller, Vincon-Zerrer, and Weinbau Steinmetz wineries, as well as Amthof12 Weingärtner Oberderdingen-Knittlingen eG, invite you to the lookout point and the wine plateau amidst the vineyards.  Once again this year, hundreds of wine connoisseurs and those hoping to become one are expected from across the region. A diverse selection of Oberderdingen wines will be available. Of course, sparkling wine and Secco lovers will also find something to their liking. Non-alcoholic beverages will be on hand, and refreshments will be provided by the **"Freundschaft-Harmonie" Oberderdingen e.V.** choir and the Oberderdingen Volunteer Fire Department, Oberderdingen Division. While enjoying a beautiful panoramic view of the surrounding area, wine enthusiasts can also take the opportunity to learn about viticulture in Oberderdingen from the informational displays on the wine plateau. It is easy to get there by public transportation. This allows out-of-town guests to enjoy the wine without risking their driver’s license. Take the S4 light rail line to the **"Oberderdingen-Flehingen"** stop, and from there take bus line 145 to the **"Amthof"** or **"Freibad"** stop in Oberderdingen, or to the **"Kirche"** stop in the Großvillars district. The Derdinger Horn can be reached after a short walk from all stops. **We ask everyone arriving by car to use the marked parking spaces at the Bremich hiking parking lot and to be considerate of hikers and walkers when driving up to the Derdinger Horn.**
